Do I need an account?
Nope, just open it and swipe. We only ask you to sign in after a few swipes, and only so your matches survive a refresh.
Does my partner need to install anything?
No. Send them the link or have them scan the code, and they swipe the same options right in their phone browser. No app and no account on their end.
Is it really free, and how do you make money?
Yes, genuinely free, and no account to start. We don't run ads or sell your data, and your receipt is read once and never stored. We're a tiny team building Relish for our own kitchen first.
What happens to my receipt?
Read once to build your options, then gone. We don't store the photo or the text. There's nothing to sell, so there's nothing worth keeping.
How does it know what I can actually cook?
Every option is built around the items on your receipt, assuming only basic pantry staples like oil, salt, and pepper. Nothing generic, and nothing that sends you back to the store.
Wait, swiping on food?
Yeah, we know how it sounds. But you already swipe to pick a movie and a restaurant, and this is the decision you actually make every single night.
What if we never match?
Keep swiping, or hit start over to reshuffle them all. On a tired night, filter down to the heat-and-eat options. Something always sticks.
Can I save our matches?
Sign in with your email and your matches sync across devices, so tonight's pick is still there tomorrow. Skip it and everything just lives in your browser.
Is there an app?
An iOS app is on the way. For now Relish runs great right in your browser, nothing to install, and it works the same on both of your phones.
Can I use it solo?
You can, but it's really built for two. The whole point is settling it with the other person instead of texting 'idk what do you want' for the ninth time tonight. There's a stand-in partner for when you're just kicking the tires.
Blurry photo?
Paste the receipt text instead. Works the same.
