The short version

Relish is meant for adults deciding on dinner. You must be at least 13 years old to use it, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission. You agree to use Relish only for its intended purpose and in line with these Terms and the law.

• Not professional advice. Relish generates meal ideas from the items it reads on your receipt. They are suggestions, not nutritional, dietary, medical, or food-safety advice.
• Check for allergens. We do not know your allergies or dietary restrictions. Always read the actual ingredient and packaging labels before you cook or eat.
• Cook safely. Follow safe food-handling and cooking practices, including cooking meat, poultry, fish, and eggs to safe internal temperatures. You are responsible for what you make and eat.

When you use Relish, you agree not to:

• Break the law. Use Relish for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
• Abuse the service. Disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or try to gain unauthorized access to Relish or its systems.
• Misuse other people’s data. Only invite a partner who is happy to swipe with you, and do not use Relish to collect or share anyone’s information without their consent.

We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email, so keep access to that inbox secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. The choices you make in Relish, like your swipes, matches, and pantry, stay yours; you grant us permission to process them as needed to run the service. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Relish runs on a short list of trusted providers, including Supabase, Google’s Gemini API, Resend, and Vercel. Your use of Relish is also subject to their terms where they apply, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. See the Privacy Policy for who does what.

Relish is free to use. We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features at any time as we improve the product. We will try to avoid disruption, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or uninterrupted.

Relish is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the meal suggestions are accurate, complete, safe for your diet, or suitable for any particular purpose, or that the service will be error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relish and its makers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service or from food you prepare based on its suggestions. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You can stop using Relish at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing hello@relishmealdecider.com. We may suspend or end access for anyone who misuses the service or breaks these Terms.

If we make a meaningful change, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Relish after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
